How To Prepare For Your Appointment
Please see our Kid’s Piercings page as well for additional information about preparing for the day for you and your child.
Bring your government-issued photo ID as detailed here. If you do not have your ID, your appointment is canceled and you will forfeit your deposit.
Plan to arrive early as there is a lot of road construction and traffic delays. Please note that we will only allow you in the studio at the precise time of your appointment to avoid having too many people in the studio at the same time.
Fill out our release form 1 or 2 hours in advance of your appointment. Do not wait to do this until you arrive as you are currently forbidden from using your cellular phone in the studio.
Review the Standard Aftercare page and any other applicable aftercare pages.
Eat within two hours of your appointment.
Ensure that you are sober. If you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol your appointment is canceled and you will forfeit your deposit.
Make sure you are in good health and not sick when you receive your piercing. If you are sick the day before or the day of your appointment, please call our receptionist as soon as possible.
Do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. Our current policy due to COVID-19 forbids you to bring any friends or family into the studio.
We do not allow photos or videos of the piercing process. Before and after photos are encouraged and you must get consent from the piercer before taking photos.
Be ready for a change of idea or placement. Not all piercings work for everyone based on anatomy and jewelry selection. We may need to change the type of piercing, placement, or jewelry so that it works for your body and gives you the best chance for healing successfully.
Ensure that the piercing you selected does not require a consultation by looking at the associated piercing page.
